PREAMBLE
For the purpose of promoting the civic, commercial, industrial, agricultural, dairying, horticulture, and tourism interest in our city and trade area both at home and abroad; of compiling, preserving and of distributing statistics and information of value along these lines; and of acting as representatives of our city when state and national issues are to be decided, we do hereby form ourselves into the Cuero Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture.
We agree further that in the pursuit of these purposes, this organization shall be non-sectarian, and nonpolitical, and that it shall lend neither support nor influence to any candidate for office.
WHAT IT IS...
Your Chamber is a voluntary, non-profit organization of citizens who are investing their time and money working together to constantly improve the economic well being and quality of life of our community that creates a climate in which businesses can succeed.
WHAT IT DOES...
Your Chamber is a service institution It provides a medium through which people can take effective action for the progress of the community. In all its functions your Chamber is serving as a partner of every business and every professional person in the area.
HOW IT FUNCTIONS...
Your Chamber membership is divided into committees, directors, and officers who work and serve without pay. The paid staff includes a manager and one full time secretary/receptionist.
HOW IT IS FINANCED...
The work of the Chamber is financed by the investment of members and by fundraisers sponsored by the Chamber. Dues structure is designed to permit even the smallest business to be a member. Professionals, retirees, and individuals that are interested in the progress of the area are encouraged to join.
