The Pilot International Foundation, established in 1975, furthers Pilot's humanitarian efforts throughthe disbursement of grants and scholarships. Grant funding is available to support club projects, brain research and programs which benefit people affected by brain-related disorders and disabilities. Foundation scholarships are awarded to eligible students preparing for careers in fields associated with Pilot's focus, as well as to international students and adults preparing for second careers.

The Foundation also supports brain awareness programs and raises funds for brain research and education through partnerships with the Brain Injury Association, National Organization on Disability, Alzheimer's Association, the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives, and the American Heart Association.
